“My art is influenced by my intimate relationship with Grand Canyon and the American West.  My personal connection with these places is what I reflect upon when I begin a new painting. I seek the transition between sunlight and shadow, the movement of water, the reflection of cobalt skies, and the light dancing across the muzzle of a horse.

My intention is to portray these natural intricacies with a visual sensibility using paint and pastel.

Wild places and open spaces are needed for the human spirit to thrive, to refresh and to live in harmony with nature.  Through my artwork I hope to share my love, and genuine need, of these places.”
